Hotel Split has hosted an Ambassador of Switzerland, friends and partners of Swiss consul in Split at the traditional Swiss evening. The focus of this year`s evening were innovations, music and art.
Program started at 19:30 with the art exhibition “Blue and Green”, a representation of the artworks made by popular sculptor and painter Karin Grenc, our regular guest at art colonies in hotel Split. The program was opened by the respectable Croatian painter Josip Botteri Dini who held a short presentation of the work, inspiration and art opus of the painter and sculptor Karin. Colors of an exhibition, green and blue, were additionally highlighted in the songs of the women vocal choir Kurjože who entertained the guests.
Later during the night, the evening continued with the presentation of the Swiss innovation (cellophane, patent, www …) at the conference room “Zlatna vrata”. A unique Swiss musical instrument “hang” was played for the first time in our hotel. Our guests had an opportunity to hear its sound thanks to mister Aljinović, a music “hang” pioneer in this area. The additional surprise of the evening was another innovation made by cooperation of Croatia and Switzerland – the first eatable chocolate record – once it finished playing the music, it turned into dessert.
Dinner with the traditional Swiss dishes was served in our L`Aroma restaurant on the beach, providing our guests with a unique gastronomic journey through Swiss cuisine on the open sea air lighted by the evening stars.
